Oakland Raiders - UNLV Draft Las Vegas Stadium Joint Use Agreement Lacks Racial, Sexual Discrimination Prohibition Clause

The much talked about Stadium Joint Use Agreement between the Oakland Raiders and University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) is complete, and the next stop is a January 4th 2018 special meeting of the UNLV Regents.

While there's a lot to digest, and the UNLV Regents should be careful to read every word of the 65-page work, there's one very glaring omission: there's no clause stating that either party, Raiders or UNLV, will tolerate racial or sexual discrimination, or sexual assault in the stadium workplace.

It's wild that, in this day and age of Black Lives Matter and #MeToo that two major institutions could get this far without even installing a governing set of paragraphs that prohibit such activity in the Las Vegas Stadium working environment.

Let's hope they see the light, and fix the document before it's final.

There are other problems...

Have a look at it...
